Palin Filmmaker Calls Maddow a "Dyke"

On her Sirius XM radio show Judith Regan got into a heated discussion yesterday with wingnut commentator and filmmaker John Ziegler, who interviewed Sarah Palin for his hilariously-titled film "Media Malpractice: How Obama Was Elected and Palin was Targeted." He's been making the rounds from the "Today" show to CNN in recent days with his film, which includes lots of new idiotic sound bites from Palin (which we've played in recent days on the show).

I will be playing clips on my show today from Regan's interview in which the bilious Ziegler says that MSNBC has a "dyke" host, referring of course to Rachel Maddow, and calls Regan the "biggest whore on the face of the planet." Regan calls him on his misogyny but this nasty character isn't fazed in the slightest. A radio talk show host who was fired from seven jobs, Ziegler also defends Palin throughout the interview, including her "Russia" remarks. I'll play the clips in the third hour (4 ET) of the show today. Below a transcript of the offensive remark about Maddow, when Regan says there is a lack of women in the media:

Judith Regan: How about the Fox New Channel, the most misogynistic news organization...?

John Ziegler: There's plenty of women on Fox...MSNBC has one who's a dyke.

11. I went to a conference several years ago

A lesbian minister was hosting one of the sessions, and talked about getting some tools out of the back of her blue pick-up, parked out front of her church. (As an aside, she mentioned that she had indeed finally gotten that blue pick-up, her favorite toy as a little girl, and how that should have told everyone something even back then.) As she was rummaging around, a car sped by, full of young men, college age or thereabouts. One of them yelled, "Dyke!" She said she turned to look as they continued down the street, and the only think she could think to say was, "Duh!"
