In the days, weeks & months to come ... the Republican Din is going to get louder and Harsher and even louder after that ...And if we try to counter every criticism - that will only sap our energy and throw us off our game .... If we get sucked in .....we will end up falling for the oldest trick in the GOP playbook...


If you are the GOP -- your strategy right cannot be to defeat every Obama Initiative ...They simply dont have the numbers ( either in the Congress or the Polls) to play that game ..Their best hope is slow the Democratic Offense on Issues and prevent the passing of any big bills that are not in line with their BS Philosophy .... Basically they will seek to hold fort until the next elections where they will hope to reverse some of their electoral losses.... They will do that by creating as much distraction and disinformation as possible .. and if you notice -- that machine is already beginning to grind to life ....



How can we DU'ers contribute? .. Stop picking up on what every right winger says or does .... Dont dredge up shit from Free Republic or what XYZ asshole says on TV ..


Lets keep the spirits high and spread some cheer around ...

Remember - we will need to score some touchdowns before next elections .... and for that we will need to move for the kill like a Shark ... So be focussed and help others get focussed

5. Focus.

We have to ignore every little sensational bullshit story the GOP-controlled media invents to distract everyone.

What we need to do is focus on what's important: union jobs, healthcare and education for all, eliminating hunger and homelessness in our country once and for all, fairness, justice, ending privatization (in water, education, etc), infrastructure and energy independence.

Everything else can wait.
