After a long day at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele gave a speech asserting that party is "alive and well."

Although he emphasized that the conservative movement must become a revolution and transform America, he conceded that the party had made mistakes: "We know the past, we know we did wrong. My bad. But we go forward in appreciation of the values that brought us to this point."

According to CNN, Steele was then praised by Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.

As Steele concluded his remarks, Minnesota Rep. Michelle Bachmann -- the event's moderator -- told Steele he was "da man."

"Michael Steele! You be da man! You be da man," she said.

17. I totally disregard minorities who are Republicans.

When I see a Black person embrace today's Republican Party I totally disregard them as actually betraying their own people. How in the hell can any Black person today support the party of out right racists. I think the same when I see some geeking looking White kid spewing the Republican crap. I wonder if they either one was a Democrat would anyone pay any attention to them. Is seems to me that their only measure of success is that they sold out. How can Steele look at any of his fellow Black brothers and sisters and say that the Republican Party supports them. I can't help to think that the wealthy white Republicans only regard them as "useful idiots."
