2. Insane. DC has more people than some states. Everybody in DC, register to vote in Wyoming.

Although its close (within 100,000) of three others -- Vermont, NDakota, and Alaska.

I'm glad the bill passed, but at least with Byrd, I understand his voting against it because of his belief that giving DC representation in Congress requires a Constitutional amendment. That certainly would be the cleaner approach legally. If I had been in his shoes, I still would've either voted for, or abstained rather than voting against. Not sure how Baucus explained his vote

4. Is it Montana or Wyoming? Anyway, it wasn't hard for Cheney to register in Wyoming, so..

everybody in DC should register to vote there.

6. wyoming. Montana is actually bigger than many people realize

DC has around 590,000 residents. Montana has around 970,000 In fact, Montana has a larger population than not only DC and Wyoming, but also Alaska, North and South Dakota, Vermont and Delaware.

Baucus opposes giving Utah the other seat--apparently Utah and Montana BOTH just missed getting a new seat after the last Census.
