Eastwood thinks political correctness has made society humourless

London, February 27 (ANI): Acting legend Clint Eastwood , 79, apparently believes that political correctness has rendered modern society humourless, for he accuses younger generations of spending too much time trying to avoid being offensive.

"People have lost their sense of humour. In former times we constantly made jokes about different races. You can only tell them today with one hand over your mouth or you will be insulted as a racist," the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

EVERYBODY! My heridate is Irish/German, and my best friend were Polish, Italian, and Scotch. We all made ethnic jokes, not only about each other but ourselves too! We're talking YEARS, and nobody was offended...ever!

13. More accurately, the idea of framing the condemnation of hateful

speech as a negative is a RW idea.

There is a fine line between ribbing between ethnicities, such as you will find in most dense populations, and outright hate speech disguised as jokes. The right plays that line very deliberately, crossing it and then protesting 'It was just a joke - jeeze, don't get all PC on me!' while knowing all the while that it was NOT just a joke.

It's not the words, or the jokes - it's the intent, the context. Whenever anyone calls the right out on their intent, they protest about PC, and say it's about the words.

But what else do you expect from RW bullies? It's the way of the coward.

who have become humorless. off the top of my head, ben stein, dennis miller and some of the hillbilly comics are the repub comics. i think most of the rest are jewish and lean left.
