I suspect some of the commenters are Freepers. There's one confirmed Freeper who posts to the site quite a bit, although he hasn't posted to this particular discussion yet.

2. The Freeper (Raoul Deming) finally got up this morning and started commenting:

"Let's try a non-violent approach. Send Gordo with a white flag and a pork chop to neogtiate "root causes" with the Taliban."

And this one:

"Waterboard has NOT occured at GITMO.

Military personnel have NOT waterboarded anyone, anywhere.

Cheney was very clear about that. Waterboard was performed by the CIA on three high ranking al-Qaeda leaders involved in planning, funding and enabling terrorist attacks. The sum total of time waterboarding all three has been well under ten minutes."
