How do you set a time frame for the End of a War?
Says one of the brilliant Repukes in my work area. The same REPUBLICAN that didn't know who Ron Paul was. I had to bite my tongue as I do everyday. "YOU LEAVE!" That's the end right there. Fucking moron.

1. they still think the 'war' is legitimate
as long as Bush and CO arent held accountable for war crimes, people will assume this whole occupation is a legitimate enterprise..it isnt, and its sinful that Bush and Co are walking away scot free. makes me sick.

3. Agreed. Whether they really think so or not.
The even more pathetic point was just the fact that she couldn't see how a time table for withdrawal could equate with the "end" to the war. My dog would get that. My 8 mo. old son could fathom that.

How could you put a time frame on the end of a Football game?

Well, the clock runs out, the fucking game is over!!!! Doi!

10. It's an occupation. No one claims that an occupation is not
dangerous. it's no insult to the troops.

11. Once again, for those in the middle of it LEGAL niceties don't matter
insofar as I am getting shot at, yep, it's a war

We can go down the road of legality of this war all you want, but it is a war...

And in fact, we should go down that road... but it is still a war

8. In war there's a victory. No victory is possible with an occupation. You just leave. nt

9. Before Jan 20, 2009
They would not admit to a definition of "victory" (which was a necessary condition for ending the war).

They wanted it to go on forever. With some of them, their jobs probably depend on it.
