I don't think I've ever seen the Republicans more edgy and desperate.
In an interview on NPR last night they had some really upset congressman:

Interviewer: "Doesn't it make sense that the wealthiest 1% should shoulder a larger tax burden?"

Publican: "Well, I know that's NPR's agenda..."

Interviewer: "Excuse me, NPR does not have an agenda either way."

Publican: (belligerent) "Well it's the question's agenda!"

On MSNBC this morning, they discussed a progressive PAC commercial, emphasizing Republican obstruction to economic stimulus, and Rush Limbaugh wanting economic stimulus to fail.

Publican: "This commercial is silly. It makes it look like Congressional republicans listen to Rush Limbaugh. He's just an entertainer."

Interviewer: "But a Republican congressman was made to apologize to Limbaugh after criticizing him for his comments about wanting Obama to fail. Doesn't that mean he's powerful?"

Publican: (angry) "This is silly! President Obama was talking about Limbaugh himself a few weeks ago! It's all silly!"

I swear, it's like watching a UFO cult just before the mass suicide.

2. The Publican interviewed was Senator Gregg who so desperately wanted to be apart of the cabinet
until he realized that the vetting process would expose some of his secrets.

8. His dirty secrets are coming out anyway

Gregg, R-N.H., personally has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in Cyrus Gregg's office projects at the Pease International Tradeport, a Portsmouth business park built at the defunct Pease Air Force Base, once home to nuclear bombers. Judd Gregg has collected at least $240,017 to $651,801 from his investments there, Senate records show, while helping arrange at least $66 million in federal aid for the former base.

5. "A UFO cult just before the mass suicide."
That is pretty funny.

This is what the score is: They cannot bring themselves to admit that the political philosophy of the republican party is not viable in the 21st century.

6. Well, they've been outed.........
All the closet imbeciles who have been packed and made to memorized "talking points," the automatons who have been sent out since Ronnie Raygun's time to spew their high-minded, low-class vitriol and convince their followers that they were making sense, have been shown to be the empty suits that they truly are, that their actual policies have been destructive and wrong.

So, like the instances you cited, they're left sputtering.

I think the Jindal speech the other night is the perfect capstone for the death of the GOPigs as they currently exist. His lackluster performance - and I know I'm being kind - riddled, as it was with lies and deceptions, delivered in as wooden and inhuman manner as one can imagine, was the final example of how bereft they are of ideas, plans, hopes, dreams, intellect, morals, and courage.

Obama is very nicely taking apart all the hideous mistakes of the last thirty years and making things right again. Right down to ordering the returning coffins to be shown. No detail seems to be too small for this new Administration, just like it wasn't for the GOPigs, and, boy, do they not like it when their policies are shown to be the vile, self-serving frauds that they truly are.

13. The cable "news" are desperate for Obama to have a "Clinton"
moment (personal and political drama on a daily basis) since that is all they know how to report. It's killing them and they (and the Pubes) just cannot deal with it.

14. Well, maybe not QUITE as desparate.
But they were not exactly happy campers after Nixon's fall and they were being carted off to jail, and laws were being passed against them. But you will notice they came roaring back...

Gotta watch them fuckers all the time.
