What this guy is talking about is treason.
Head of market analysis for Schneider Foreign Exchange Stephen Gallo told CNBC that the financial crisis will lead to the creation of a global central bank and a global single currency within 15 years.

4. You're joking, right?
U.S. Constitution Article 1: Section 8 - Powers of Congress: To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures.

Now lets also talk about taxes. Income taxes all go to paying the interest created by our debt based fractional reserve monetary system. Implement a global central bank and we will be beholden to pay income taxes to our new none American money masters.

Giving the control over our money to none American entities is absolutely treason. I am shocked that fellow citizens, especially fellow Democrats, don't have a problem with handing over a major part of our country's sovereignty. What a shame.

Because it's your own post you're responding to. And what you state here has nothing to do with someone saying what he/she believes will happen in the future. Stating an opinion isn't treason, you throwing around that word doesn't make it any more so. Get a clue.

21. Ok fine and dandy.
Let us suppose that joining a global central bank violated the constitution (it doesn't, but I will ignore that for now.)

How exactly would proposing something that goes against an article or amendment of the constitution be treason?

Perhaps you would like to rephrase your thesis?

45. It quite simply is not treason
Treason is defined by US Criminal code Title 18 § 2381. Treason: Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

The word was tossed around by Republicans when W was in office, and not that we are in charge we resort to throwing it out anytime somebody dares disagree with our Elected President.

Quit overstating you case..It sucks, it is a bad idea, in my opinion, and not sure anyone would let us in with our debt load...That was a big issue for EU going to single currency.

None of that withstanding, it is not treason.

Wow, incredible. I guess it seems that I came to the wrong board. It appears people here don't give a rat's behind about our country if they care less about our sovereignty.

Its not clear what you are suggesting is "treasonous". Stephen Gallo expressing his opinion as to what "might" happen (or even what "might need to" happen with regard to world currency markets.? Hopefully that's not what you are claiming, because that would be almost too stupid a position to respond to.

So I think that means you are suggesting the formation of a more global monetary system would be treason because its not consistent with the constitution. Even assuming that is true, I hate to break it to you that suggesting that the government engage in activities that may or may not turn out to be consistent with the constitution isn't treason. If it was, one can only wonder why every president that has signed an order later found to be unconstitutional or every member of congress to have voted for a law found to be unconstitutional hasn't been charged with treason. The DC gun control law was struck down by the SCOTUS. Now I happen to think that was a wrong decision. But even among those that think its right, I don't recall anyone ever suggesting that the members of the DC Council that supported that law should be charged with treason.

You're out on a ledge that doesn't even exist.

35. Where to start?
We got a global bank, in a manner of speaking.
The World Bank
And the IMF

And the Federal Reserve Bank long ago blew past the Constitution, as have the last 20 some years of Republican rule.

and the definition of treason is this:

"The Constitution of the United States, Art. III, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort. This offence is punished with death. By the same article of the Constitution, no person shall be convicted of treason, unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court. "
