But I liked the old DU (more substantial minute to minute info). I have never been a big hugger type though; must be the Finnish blood in me. I do, however believe in the phylosophy that we should love everyone. This is very tough to do sometimes and getting harder all the time, but I try. There sure are a lot of huggers in here. That is a compliment to all of you for staying above the obvious.

1. Oh yeah, I live in a Scandinavian influenced city (Seattle) |

and the people are cold! Coming from Michigan, it was quite a shock, I can tell you. People don't even get up and dance at sporting events.

A grade-school friend of mine's father was the local veterinarian. We both had show cattle and went to a large show in Dallas. We stayed at her grandmother's house. Now...THIS family was touchy feely huggy and my family was...not. Anyway, I swear you couldn't even get up and leave the room to go to the bathroom without being hugged.:( It was too much for me. I started getting up earlier so I could avoid the mushy stuff. So I completely understand what you are saying.

6. I don't love everyone. |
|
That's impossible. However, there IS a certain group of sheep...err...I mean people I DETEST. I'm not going to pretend I like someone I hate. That would make me a hypocrite.
I'm not hugging anyone today ...other than my son, hubby and Isabelle.:)

I have been biting my tongue all day.
If some one, or their mouthpiece screws me over day after day, my opinion of them will not change just because they are ill or even stop breathing.

9. They say the opposite of love is indifference. |

Today I feel that to be true.
If I were face to face with the man it would be different.
He is a historical figure from where I sit today.
