"It's all irrelevant (pleading the 5th etc) because the prez has the right to fire any US attorney he wants so the Dems should drop this now".
All said in a high pitched voice tinged with panic.
I don't think even the MSNBC newsbabe (Chris?) was buying his bullshit.

He may ask for their resignations at any time, but he can NOT do so FOR ANY REASON.
This calls for Special Prosecutor with unlimited power to subpoena and a multi-million dollar budget to let the investigation go on for years and years. Too bad the GOP Congress let that expire.
