I am sure she is planning on collecting some kind of retirement check along with benefits now that she has left her government job. If I were to refuse to answer questions from my employer about my current employment and such they would cut off my retirement pay and benefits immediately. How does that work for government workers? Are they allowed to thumb their noses at their employer (the US government) and continue cashing in?

3. I also could collect my retirement pay with a felony conviction |
|
But if I became uncooperative with the Retirement Board they could cut me off. I remember signing papers to that effect when I retired.

2. As I posted elsewhere ... |
|
I do not believe that any person holding an office of Public Trust should continue to hold that office, or any such office in the future, if they do not willingly and honestly bear witness in the appropriate forum (such as Congress) to the manner in which the Public's Interests were pursued ... or not.
This does not mean I believe they should surrender their rights. Nor does it mean that I believe theor personal lives should fall under the disclosure requirement ... just their job-related activities.

It is is sad though that "I'm afraid to tell the truth" is what bush's "Justice" Dept has come down to.

so she's no receiving anything. and she hasn't been around long enough to be vested in TSA (Thrift Savings, not Transportation Security) so that is irrelevant.
she can't even claim unemployment because her leave was voluntary.
