...a place behind the curtains where unspeakable freaks and unnaturally hideous beings await the curious, the Republicans have CPAC. They put on an act for the media's benefit, and gain the attention they channel into political assets.

Just like at the circus, giving in to the temptation to pay our dollar and peek in gives us undesired feelings instead of the satisfaction we'd hoped for.
