7. I can never understand why the discussion

of Democrats having wealth, nice homes, whatever.
Most of our Dem. Presidents have been well off. In
fact some of our greatest were wealthy. FDR and
JFK. LBJ whom history will judge more favorably
than the present--came from humble beginnings
but created Wealth for himself and his family.

Wealth is not "bad". It is all in how it is you
use and what you do for others.

Edwards came from humble beginnings and certainly
is exemplary in using his life to do good for others.

Here is what is bad. Both parties ignoring half
the country who do not vote. The majority of the
non-voters are poor. Both parties focus on those
at the top and upper middle. Until now it was not
fashionable to talk about poor people or poverty.

This bothers me much more than our leaders having
wealth. You have to be rich to be able to wage
a campaign in this country. It is estimated
the Presidential Candidates will spend 5 hundred
million by the time they are elected. Our one
candidate for President. One Half Billion Dollars.
