What would we lose? The neocons would lose tremendous face but the USA would lose nothing. Our military accomplished every goal set out for them. We made sure there were no WMDs to be used against America and we eliminated Saddam who was "supposedly" a threat to America. We accomplished our goal. We lose absolutely nothing if we bring our troops home now and let Iraq police itself..We gain much..The appreciation of the world and possibly even a small bit of respect for doing so. We gain the money thrown away on killing women and children in Iraq and can use it for women and children here in America that need health care or other necessities.
