Just another bit of fallout from a White House that considers itself above it all. Poor King George.

5. I never understood what the rank and file saw in him
I mean, even Reagan had a "rags to riches" story and did serve his entire hitch during WWII. And Eisenhower was really a leader, as shown by what he did during the war. Yeah, I know the oil barons loved the Idiot, but what about the rank and file? Were they that slavish to their party that they ignored the less than stellar qualities of their candidate?
