Judge assails cases doubting Obama's citizenship

By NEDRA PICKLER

WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge on Thursday threw out a lawsuit questioning President Barack Obama's citizenship, lambasting the case as a waste of the court's time and suggesting the plaintiff's attorney may have to compensate the president's lawyer.

In an argument popular on the Internet and taken seriously practically nowhere else, Obama's critics argue he is ineligible to be president because he is not a "natural-born citizen" as the Constitution requires.

...

Robertson ordered plaintiff's attorney John Hemenway of Colorado Springs, Colo., to show why he hasn't violated court rules barring frivolous and harassing cases and shouldn't have to pay Obama's attorney, Bob Bauer, for his time arguing that the case should be thrown out.

Oh, ssssSSSSSSSNAP!

First we will go after the media then the “judges”. If not for these two bastions of constitutional indignation the demoncrat party would not even exist.

even though Hawaiian officials have said the document is authentic
Only if you have no reading comprehension skills...

"Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures," Fukino said.

Statement by DOH Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino

They only verified they have a birth certificate on record.

2. On a related issue
bobby jindal said his mother was pregnant with him when she arrived in this country. If life begins at conception was he born in this country? Can the argument be made that he was a living viable human prior to being in this country? No doubt someone with conservative values can explain this away as they do the old testament.

After his performance on the teevee the other day, Jindal has about as much chance of getting the presidency as Spongebob Squarepants.

6. Your argument confuses "conception" with being "born". The issue is "when does life begin." n/t

And the US didn't exist then, so no living thing is eligible to be president.

20. Agree! All living things today are descended from that first life form. We now know that each
human begins when a "living" sperm fuses with a "living" ovum which may or may not result in a birth about nine months later.

32. The Constitution says "born" in the U.S. to be president. The RTLifers have as much as admitted
that there is "born" and not born, such as their little "unborn" and/or "pre-born" (my fave) children.

So the letter of the Constitution, if you are a strict constructionist, is "born", as in what you have to be in the U.S. to be president.

35. Aww...you're no fun...
I thought it was a cute idea, especially with what is going on these days to define life as beginning at conception. Kind of makes birth irrelevant.

36. I reject all creationism and its dependence upon forces that override the laws of nature as we know
them or will discover them.

I do however marvel at the variety of complex organisms that evolution has produced over the past 3.7 billion years.

Given the real probability that intelligent life exist on other planets that are perhaps billions of years more evolved than we humans, I tremble at how insignificant I am as a mere human compared to their intelligence.

That was a clinton appointed judge.

The COLB is a fake.

The Republican govenror of Hawaii is in on the conspiracy.

The election authorities of all fifty states are in on the conspiracy.

Stanley Ann Dunham conspired to put baby Barry into the white house in 1961.

Hawaiian newspapers conspired in 1961 to announce the birth of Barack Obama at a local hospital so that it would seem that he was really born here.

Do they really think Obama's parents and grandparents would have had a clue that he would be president one day, and that they needed to create a false birth certificate?
