3. I just watched it.

Absolutely broke my heart, especially Moochie's story. It's terrible that children have to grow up in environments like that. Here's hoping that they hang onto their beautiful spirits and are able to persevere and find an escape from their circumstances. I also hope that as adults they find a way to end their cycles of poverty and make the lives of their own children better.

23. it was a powerful program. it's criminal that we don't demand this level of

reportage and journalism from our television media all the time. when they show what they're capable of we all go wow, that was awesome. and then we settle back for another 12 eeks of internet entrapment stings with guys being set-up for hitting on underage girls. not that i'm endorsing the activity, but criminy, when i found two different episodes on two separaate channels at the same time one night channel surfing i knew it had gotten outta hand. perhaps the most influential media ever invented so far and we're using itlou dobbs and tim russert and you feel lucky if you actually find anything worthwhile on the box.

It is so sad that we can spend billions on a war for oil, let the very rich have ever-expanding tax breaks, but we can't help the children, who just want a chance. This is America, and no person living here, especially no child, should have to be so very far from the American dream.

40. Grocery stores throw out tons of food every day

the amount of food thrown out from cafeterias of schools and other institutions is disgraceful. The amount of food people waste. The sight of fat young children eating one bite of a cheeseburger at McDonalds and then they throw it away makes one scream! The bite could be someone's daily meal if they are lucky! Why doesn't government do something why is it left to charities??
