I have to buy tires this week
Is there a certain size that progressives are allowed to buy?
I'd hate to lose my liberal license if they are too BIG.

1. Which brands are blue, or do you want us to say the tires should match the, um, ego?

4. No, but anything too fancy, like...
Edited on Fri Jan-26-07 11:01 PM by Kutjara
...low profile sports tires or high-speed racing tires are definitely non-progressive. You have to get very very ordinary tires, peferably with whitewalls (if they still make them). If you can find any crossplys, so much the better.

Anyway, what the hell are you doing driving a car, you elitist bastard?

5. As long as...
As long as they're made out of recycled hemp fibre infused with patchouli oil you're OK. Remember, if you're buying rubber you're supporting Bushco. ;-)

...so they're good enough for my Camry.

27. OK, how about...
...my own skin, wrapped around a sort of wheel-shaped thing made from my ribcage and other assorted bones? If I could get three other people to donate their parts, we could get the car on the road (admittedly, it would have to be driven by someone else, since we'd all be dead).

Such a drama queen! I was just thinking flying cars like the Jetsons had. No need for tires.

29. But think of the hideous environmental damage...
...all that antigrav plating and the jet engines will cause. Not to mention the birds that will be terrified out of their wits and the carnage as people who can't even drive cars on the roads properly now have three dimensions to be stupid in.

tires that are circular and fit on the rims when they inflate. Did that help? :)

I must have missed a big tire hooha here.

25. I go with
Cooper (not sure if I'm allowed to say that) for my, um., suv. But they make the best all weather highway and offroad in one tire. You need five, one for the spare. They don't look very conspicuous, no glitzy markings, and they won't explode on you like the Firestones.

at your friendly neighborhood junk yard.
That's where I get mine. 4 90% rubber tires and rims for
less than 50 bucks makes my old Buick real happy.
