She is embarrassed that she has no recollection of any event, document or statement she was questioned about by a Democrat, but miraculously her memory is crystal clear when a Repub is doing the questioning.

She stuck to 'I honestly do not recall' as her primary response to every question, or just plain failed to answer the question put to her.

Documents and questions presented by Democrats nailed her to the wall. She should have invoked her 5th Amendment privilege because her career as Head of GSA is over.

Hmmm, now where have we read about surveillance and data-transfer technologies to the federal government before? And isn't it convenient that the president of one of these companies that has very little oversight due to it's "classified" work, is trying to cut the budget of the oversight agency that oversees the spending on federal contracts? There's more here than meets the eye...Waxman is playing a game of chess and he's getting all of the pieces in place.

39. A side note about Congressional hearings:

I think I was listening to Michael Medved a couple weeks ago, and he was discussing all of the Dem hearings. I'm not sure it was Medved because I don't listen to Medved. (I was in the outback, okay! Back off.)

Anyways, he was making a point about the number of hearings the Dems were conducting, inferring that it was extraordinary or excessive or something.

It seems that people like Medved don't even understand that the primary reasons Congressional committees exist in the first place is to gather information and conduct hearings. It seems that the Pukes had been in power long enough to where they have actually forgotten how our government is supposed to work.
