Political pollster and strategist Frank Luntz is CEO of Luntz, Maslansky Strategic Research, a market research and communications consultancy firm. Mr. Luntz, whose clients have included such high-profile political figures as Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani, was one of the architects of the Republican takeover of the House of Representatives in 1994. He discusses his book with John McCaslin, Inside the Beltway columnist for the Washington Times and author of the book Inside the Beltway: Offbeat Stories, Scoops, and Shenanigans From Around the Nation's Capital.

Author and former President Jimmy Carter tackles the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in his book Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid. At this event at Brandeis University, Carter summarizes the book and addresses issues surrounding its public reception, including his use of the word "apartheid," his statements regarding Jews and the American media, his opinions on the responsibility of Palestinian leadership, and his decision not to debate Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz at the event. He also apologizes for a sentence in the book that implies Israel is responsible for stopping Palestinian acts of terror, and challenges students and professors to travel to the region.

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz addresses an audience at Brandeis University immediately following a presentation by former president Jimmy Carter. Carter was invited by the university to speak and answer questions about his new book Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid. Dershowitz responds to points made by Carter regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and also answers questions from the audience. Mr. Dershowitz is author of Preemption, The Case for Israel, and Why Terrorism Works, among other books.

John Taylor, Global Financial Warriors: The Untold Story of International Finance in the Post-9/11 World
Sworn in as Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs just before the events of 9/11, John Taylor was a leader in the government's post 9/11 financial efforts around the world. In his new book, he describes his efforts to freeze the assets of international terrorists, create a new currency in Iraq, and aid in the financial reconstruction of Afghanistan. He is joined by Alastair McKechnie, World Bank Country Director of Afghanistan, and Faryar Shirzad, George W. Bush's former Deputy Assistant for International Economic Affairs.
