I agree, Jennings' presentation seems like a violation of the Hatch act, but she may very well have viewed it as just another team-building exercise. She may be a little naive, politically. She just didn't come across as your typical republican reptile.

Second - she was a Bush Pioneer. That means she raised $200,000 for Bush/Cheney campaign. Abramoff only raised $100,000! She doubled that ... and smiled like the Chesire Cat today when they acknowledged the fact she had raised it.

Perhaps you felt a little sorry for her because she is unable to understand the basic conflict between government employment and political shenanigans.

Think I will explain it to her. When you are being paid with my tax dollars to oversee my tax dollars - that is government employment. You answer to me. If you want to work for the Rethugs get a job at the RNC where you will be paid with private sector money.

Well anyway, it used to be private sector money. Under Bush our tax payer dollars are moving from the congress to the defense department and other departments as appropriations and then handed out in contracts to companies that don't produce a product for the government but instead are phony Rethugs companies who keep 10-15% of the money and give the remainder back to the congressmen, the RNC and various re-elect committees but mostly to the congressmen that appropriated our tax payers dollars to them to begin with. What a perfect loop.
