When people like Doan take the oath and testify as Doan did yesterday, there can be no doubt that the political appointees are basically incompetent --they don't know the job and their responsibilities, they do not know the law and violate the law, and they seem to believe that party loyalty trumps every wrongdoing which they committed.

I think that it's funny and naive to think that people like Samson and Goodling would all of a sudden wake up and tell the truth and be a good citizen. These are hardcore evil slimy goons that have been practicing deception for their entire careers. They will not change, they have been lying to themselves and to each other for years. They truly think that they are better than the system.

7. Look at who they hired, and you have to admit many have no qualification for the job they hold...

If Monica Goodlin ever testifies(unlikely unless she cuts a deal) you will realize she did not have the experience necessary to perform the duties of that office --unless you consider her official position to be a political position.

That is just one example of loyalty trumping competence in filling these positions.

Further, she indicated she signed off on something, maybe a letter, when she took the job, but she does not remember exactly what was said in the letter.

She lied under oath, which did not go unnoticed.

And her protestation that she was 'embarrassed' by having such a poor memory in that she did not remember the Republican partisan powerpoint presentation at her office, just did not cut it.

She was and is a political hack, who openly turned her office into an arm of the Republican Party, and she is proud of that fact.

I think that makes her both Incompetent and Ignorant as a public official.
