Perhaps I should say OBJECT
The "Senate Rules" say they can object?
So they can stop the meetings?
WTF is happening?

5. Good. Show the American people how you still love to protect Bush
at the expense of justice.

It'll be 50 years before republicans take control again.

12. They'll say they're satisfied with the answers ...

...and the Dems are now on a witch hunt. They like to pretend their concern so it won't look so obvious when they undermine the effort. My senator Arlen Specter is a master at this ploy.

The ReThugs don't serve this country or it's people ... they only serve their party and their bank accounts.

16. The Commitee stopped its hearings because
some REPUBIC-CON objected "underSenate Rules" that
the meeting could not be held while the Senate was in session.

19. So they'll have to start up again when the Senate is no longer in session?
Is that right?

When will that be?

20. In the middle of the hearing, during Grassley's questioning, Leahy
interrupted and said he was sorry, but he just got word that the Repugsin the Senate have objected to holding the hearing while the SEnate was in session. He said he will NOT adjourn, but will resume the hearing when the Senate adjourns for the day!

Apparently this is a little used rule, but still one of the Senate rules that Hearings can be suspended if the Wenate is in Session!

I could actually see it...quick walk with the beag, heat up some soup and a sandwich, and hunker down to see some Repugs sweatin' under the kleig lights! The perfect way to end a day!!

25. I'd love it if the Dems used the interruption to...

continue the hearing into the upcomming recess ... the ReThugs would be sputtering and turning blue.
