300 Bay Staters hit road for anti-war protest in D.C.
As the country readies to send 20,000 more troops to Iraq, 300 Bay Staters will surge into Washington today alongside thousands of their dismayed compatriots for an old-fashioned anti-war protest.

“These are all new people. They’re not the usual suspects,” said Pat O’Brien, a longtime protest coordinator who handled travel arrangements for five busloads of demonstrators headed from Boston.
