Crack in their defense about why they fired Lam:
George Bush has spent the bulk of his career as Governor of Tx and President keeping the border between Mexico and America as open as he could. His friendship with Fox has come before American Immigration laws many times. How many businesses were not fined for hiring illegals? How many other cases or points can be made that being tough on illegal immigration was at the bottom of the Bush Admin to-do list?? So they looked around America at the rapids-like flow of illegal immigrants and decided Lam would be the perfect starting point to build a dam. Hmmmm -

3. Naw,
that's a Rovian talking point, figuring that while trying to clear up the mess with the judges, he'd also throw in that they were working on immigration since their base seem to be all wrapped up in it...

4. "Gay marriage" and "stem-cell research" must not have passed the test.
