Edward's home WON'T destroy the environment, Bush policies will so start fighting the right people. What? Are we suffering from "GOP criticism fatigue" and now we decided to eat our own???

I like Edwards and don't really care about his house -- I mean, it would be nice if he set an example and built a modest little Green-energy house, but whatever. I'm more concerned about policy than setting examples.

BUT... people who criticize conspicuous consumption aren't necessarily *jealous* of rich people. There are a lot of us out there, myself included, who have no desire whatsoever to be rich.

According to a poster on another thread, it uses less energy than a lot of much smaller homes. And it's probably not just a "house." That complex very likely includes John and Elizabeth's business offices - and probably One America Committee's too.
