18. That's exactly what they were doing

One of the things that kept me going during the darkest times of a total GOP gov't was the ceaseless efforts coming from Waxman's office. He always investigated despite not being the head of a committee gathering evidence in preparation. He sent endless letters to the White House demanding documents and accountability throughout the terms. Even if there was no response he got it all into the record. Conyers also did this throughout the years before 11/06. That's why their committees are off and running with multiple hearings and investigations before the end of their first quarter. They have been working non-stop all along.

Chairmans Waxman, Conyers and Leahy will be the ones to save us if anyone will.
