About 30 percent of Jewish voters aged 18-39 identified themselves as Republicans and only 43 percent as Democrats. And the president's strong support of Israel could even bring more seniors into the GOP camp. Older Jews from the Holocaust generation tend to be the biggest backers of Israel.
"The older voters tend to be the ones who vote based on Israel and they realize there is only one world leader standing shoulder to shoulder with Israel and
that's President Bush," Brooks says.
George W. Bush got 22 percent of the Jewish vote in 2000, but a whopping 48 percent of Jews would consider voting for him in two years.
