GOP accuses Democrats of circulating nude photos of governor’s aide; Democrats deny involvement

Nude photos of a top aide to Gov. Matt Blunt have made their way to the Internet three years after her husband took the photos to document her pregnancy.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated the incident, but were unable to determine the identity of the thieves, the memo said. However, authorities were able to force the Web sites to take down the stolen photos.

The photos reappeared recently on a Web site that features nude and pornographic photos. Ed Martin, the governor’s chief of staff, wrote in the memo that people at the Capitol had obtained the photos and were passing them around. Martin wrote that he was told that a “Democratic operative” was spreading word of the photos in an effort to smear Robinson, whom he did not identify by name.

Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder issued a statement saying the effort to promote news coverage of the photos had “the intent of embarrassing the governor and his employee.”

and he was "spreading word" amongst that rarified group,
do you really think the Cops wouldn't have tracked him down
in about 15 minutes?
