Peace or War?
We all like to think that it is more complicated than that. How could such a simple question ever express all the thoughts and beliefs that we have about what is going on RIGHT NOW?

Well. Peace has always meant the same things. A bridge to understanding. A bridge for peoples (yes, peoples) to walk across.

War has always meant destruction, death and anger.

Some things never change.

Who, truly in their heart, and truly within their belief system, feels that war is the answer to anything?

Has war ever been the answer to anything?

I can't help it. War against peoples halfway around the world. War against those who live in our cities and neighborhoods. War against even those who live in our own homes.

Fight! Fight! Fight!'

Let's all be cheerleaders, as GWB was, for war. And fighting. And anger.

Or maybe we can all get on the field and rally for peace?

Call me a dreamer.
