Did you hear The Young Turks destroy Jackie Mason this morning? (AUDIO)

He was on promoting his hack rightwing tome "Schmucks", started making shit up about Gore, accused Jimmy Carter of antisemitism and went into a screaming fit. He got so mad at them as they shot him down that he hung up. It was great stuff.

;-) He was more of a ego driven manic comedian that had very limited talent. And the guys are right, anyone that disagrees with mason is automatically anti-semantic. In the meantime, mason is one of the most prejudice living beings I have ever heard spew out their opinion on tv. He rivals rush Limburger-cheese as far as I'm concerned. Never have liked him and never will unless he suddenly gets a whole new personality and character.

They welcomed him into their little cable family when he banned an arab comedian from opening for him at a club. He loved the attention so much, he went wingnut on every issue overnight.

I think he's Dennis Miller's dad.

6. Oh man, Jackie Mason was always a putz, but I never would have believed

....he would go over to the dark side. I was trying to remember the show where he "up-yours'ed" Ed Sullivan, but it was on a Sunday night and Sullivan was doing the show live and there was an urgent bulletin that was to come out the announce some urgent news to the country that would interrupt the show. Sullivan was just out of camera range and Mason had just come on to do his comic routine and Sullivan was giving him two fingers trying to say he had two minutes to wrap it up. Mason then did his up yours and fanned his nose at the camera and that ended her career on TV for the next twenty years.

I was scratching my head, did they not read his book before they invited him on? then I concluded that they had set him up for comic relief ( give credit to ben, he knew jenk would blow)
