Guests: Fox News analyst Michelle Malkin & Roy Sekoff, Huffington Post

Why have vile comments against White House press secretary Tony Snow been posted on blogs like Daily Kos?

1. Oh no, the poor wingers are getting picked on again
Those liberals are so mean, why won't they just leave us alone - we never ever hurted them!

2. I'd bet that the vilest of comments are posted by right wingers
They troll into liberal sites to do that all the time. Even BO knows that - and now so do you. :D

3. Is that even true?
Comments re: Tony Snow on Kos, I mean (I don't doubt that Billo will be slamming liberal blogs). Because, let's face it...the man has certainly earned the nickname "O'Lielly" - Mark Foley the "Democrat," the Malmedy massacre, Shawn Hornbeck "enjoying" his captivity (:grr:), etc., etc.

However, if it IS true that rude comments about Tony Snow have been posted on Kos and other (liberal) blogs, then I'm sure it's for the same reason that equally vile comments have been made about Elizabeth Edwards on right-wing websites - namely, that there are jerks on both sides of the political spectrum. That's my take on it, anyway (but then again, nobody asked me :P).

4. You can bet though..
That Billo will NEVER mention anything abuot anything positive posted on KOS, or anything negative about right wing blogs..
(That wouldn't be very "fair and balanced" now, would it)?

5. Of course.
I really think "fair and balanced" means that for every good thing you say about the right, you have to say something equally BAD about the left. That's about the only explanation I can come up with...

14. honestly, I don't see what the big deal is. Why respect Snow just because he is sick?
He is rich, he has health care, and can afford top care.

Not only that, but he is an active member of and the official mouthpiece for this administration, which is making quality health care harder and harder for regluar Americans to afford and maintain.

He, like every rich Repig, should thank God that he is one of the few people in this country that won't be negatively affected by BushCo's policies.

15. I don't think it's really about respect for Tony Snow
as it is about respect for human life in general. I think the idea is that while we may dislike and disrespect Snow in his capacity as press secretary (or even as a person), it doesn't do us any good to wish him ill in his battle against cancer, because that's one thing that knows no political boundaries. IMO, wishing him well has more to do with humanity than with politics. (I hope that doesn't come off as sounding too preachy - that's certainly not my intention!) :hi: Peace.

16. I don't wish him ill, but I won't put any effort into wishing him well
I really just don't care.

8. Yeah I'll have Olbermann on in the background while playing some arcade MAME games on my PC

Watching the O'Reilly factor kills brain cells. He repeats the same stupid garbage over and over again and I can't stand to watch him for longer than a couple of minutes, except when Colbert is on.

(LOL even talking about him kills brain cells. I had to edit this because I misspelled watching.) ;(

12. That is a very good question indeed.
 However, I suspect a lot of people do watch him - as a matter of fact, my dad watched his show once, just to tick me off, lol...I told him trying to see the other side of things was one thing, but watching Billo was another. And then I sent him the link to the infamous "loofah/falafel" attempted phonesex transcript. I don't think he's watched O'Reilly since.

9. The only time I have ever even tried to watch that rubbish
was when Colbert was on...although I have to admit I kept switching over to Countdown until it came time for Stephen's interview (which, by the way, I thought was pretty sweet). My mom tried to watch it with me at first, but Billo's persistent inability to allow ANYONE else to finish a sentence was a real turnoff for her (she's trained as a journalist, and so is especially sensitive to bullsh*t "journalism" like that).
