I didn't see the thread in time. Boy Smerc sure looked pathetic didn't he? What a shill!

5. The man has crazy eyes.
Regardless of the conversation, his bulging eyeballs look like he's been up on meth for a week straight.

2. Yes I do
Hughley is amazing.

I HOPE they bring back Studio 60 and let it run it's course. He was just developing that character and it had such potential ...

Maher was good tonight. I really appreciated Catherine Crier too.

9. ditto that all around.
This was a smart panel with "hot" issues to discuss.

And like you, I want to see "Studio 60" return. Hopefully, it will be as topical as the writers envisioned it rather than the romantic comedy it became before it was yanked. I'm guessing it was too close for comfort for GE and it will never be seen again.

18. Any news on Studio 60?
I saw every episode and loved it. Haven't seen anything about it being cancelled but it hasn't been on.

30. It's on the brink of being cancelled...
If "The Black Donnellys" does well in their time slot, we can kiss it goodbye. I think NBC feels it's too expensive to produce without having an instant huge audience. If you want to try to help save it, go here: http://www.eonline.com/polls/full_page_poll.jsp?pollID=6084 and vote for it (you can only vote for one).

38. I have a Nielson Tivo and I change the channel as soon as
the intro for the Black Donnellys starts. I want my Studio 60 back ... NOW!

Thanks for the link. I went to vote and will ask my friends to do the same.

39. Great! I hope Everyone does!
I will be so sad if both "Studio 60" AND "Gilmore Girls" aren't back next year. I guess I'll actually have to do homework both those nights! :SIGH:

And in spite of her promoting Hillary, I still love Madeline Albright. She'd make a better president than Hillary. Too bad she can't run.

8. Oh yeah. A good one. Every time Smearaconishrepug opened his
stupid ass mouth someone shot his dumb remarks down. Maher even challenged him when he said he believed in the 10 Commandments. Kept asking him what he meant and Smearaconishrepug tried to change the subject, fumbled around and finally admitting he doesn't exactly live by all of them but they are good.

Maher even showed what a whack job Ron Paul is. Got him to really state his wild ass theories like the Civil War shouldn't have been fought, need to close down the CIA are just a couple of the milder ones.

Michael's defense of Gonzales was laughed down. He even tried the poor immigrant pulled up by his boot straps shtick. Toward the end Smearaconishrepug finally resorted to either agreeing with the other guests and Maher of shutting up completely.

I can only imagine how he'll spin this on his radio show on Monday. He will lie about the whole event or play poor me being beat up by those meanie librals but I showed them.

10. I don't get to see it for some strange reason!!!
:argh:

My Comcast TV is showing an old 2006 re-run with Netanyahu, and panelists P.J. O'Rourke, Rob Thomas!!! grrrr!!!!

I came to DU thinking maybe that Hollywood fire hit the studio or something. (confession: I'm geographically challenged and not sure where Maher does the show.)

It was live and as described above.

15. One thing about Merconium Man and the "where's the evidence"?
I'm really tired of this "where's the evidence" crap!!!

Time after time after time after time....BEGINNING with 9/11 these people get warned, have things laid out for them, are shown tactics that point directly to collusion and subversion of the Constitution and what's their response? 'Who knew planes would be used as missiles!' 'Who knew there would be an insurgency!' 'Who knew there was a hurricane that the levies couldn't withstand!' Right up there with 'Who knew that electronic vote machines could be hacked!' And on and on and on! It's sickening!

If George Bush and Dick Cheney were serial killers and the sycophants were being told they're going to kill again, the guys like Merconium Man would be demanding proof only to defend them after it happens!

Pleasure of the President my ass...the President's "pleasure" is a sadistic, messianic behavior!

/off rant

Have a great weekend everyone. See y'all on Monday! :hi:

DL is probably the best guest that Bill has on.

He's hilarious AND knows all the facts. A rare combination.

they are not as informed.

27. Oh, the hypocrisy! Smerc mention the AG scandal as "an 8 second sound bite."
Everything the left tries to do the RRR Wing Noise Machine tries to filter into an 8 second sound bite, although they are finding it increasingly difficult. Watch how this meme gets repeated in the RRR networks.

Doesn't feel so good when it turns around and bites your sorry asses, does it, you low-life shill?

on the Pat Tillman debate. I couldn't believe Maher was saying he would be ok with the government lying to him about the death of his kid.

32. Maher doesn't have any kids, that we know of,
so how would he know what he would or would not be okay with if it was his kid. The only perfect parent is someone who has no children. (in other words, they have all the answers to the problems they do not have).
