Bush - president with a small "p"
yesterday, bush felt it necessary to remind us once again that he is the decision maker

last year he reminded us he was the decider

on many occassions he has also reminded us he is the commander-in-chief

with each pronouncement his presidency is diminished.

A true leader does not have to remind people that he/she is the leader. People know it, they may not like a leader's policies, but they respect the leader.

I've heard a few people say they do not like bush, but they respect the office. Well, the office doesn't make policy, the chair does not issue orders, the desk doesn't make decisions, and a name plate doesn't lead.

A true leader can lead without props, and a true leader does not have to repeatedly remind us who is the leader.

2. If Bush needs to remind people that he's the deciderer
Edited on Sat Jan-27-07 07:50 AM by C_U_L8R
then he's clearly insecure about the whole thing.
True deciderers prove themselves by the wisdom of their decisions.
not because they "said so" like idiot chimp-boy proclaims.

I guess that makes Bush a pretend deciderer,
just like he's a pretend cowboy.

3. An office is known by the company it keeps
bush* has diminished "the presidency" and the respect that it deserves.

4. How many times has the bozo reminded us that we are at war, like it's not his fault?
