Karen Hughes says American students are inadequate
to compete globally on her visit to India. She commends world corporatists for moving their bases out of America.

Do a google. Why do we pay her salary?

2. Students are inadequate because corporate lobbyists divert gov't funds from public education.
Grow a fucking brain, Karen. Your friends on Wall Street aren't helping America's public education. All they want is a public education system that creates OBEDIENT WORKERS and OBEDIENT CONSUMERS.

3. Obedient minimum wage workers
The Republicans have treated education as if was the small pox. Now they see their fruits. I just wish America would wake up to see what they've done for our children's future.

4. Well hell Karen, you should know all about it, given that you helped it happen.
These fucking people never cease to amaze me in their
mockery of the American people, coupled with their
absolute refusal to acknowledge their part in how we got where we are.

Torches and pitchforks anyone?

6. I am outraged that the GOP cut education as a priority
so now our kids "can't compete" with good paying global jobs. They played their part into turning this country into a banana republic.

11. Yes. Killing public education has always been a GOP priority
Berate the teachers, berate the schoos, deny them proper funding, and you see the result: Karen Hughes commending companies moving overseas for adequate help.

13. NCLB will eventually DESTROY education completely.
And, if you haven't read "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America"
you MUST.

5.  They are inadequate. But we can't compete globally on price
unless we want third world standards. She is full of shit re that second sentence. MAybe we should move her job outside of America as she is worse than inadequate, just like her boss. Move her to the jungle in India where she can stay out of trouble.

10. She messed up bigtime in Saudi Arabia
trying to identify with the Saudi women. SHe 's good at TX politics I think, but on this diplomatic stuff, she's way outside her league and comes off as incompetent as the rest of the admininstration

12. The GOP has done more to dumb down and censor information than any gov. in history.
Maybe Dubya and the rest need to dumb us down so they won't feel so stupid and inadequate.

14. She needs to be exiled.
How could they compete anyway, if they've offshored everything? That, and why does everything have to be a competition? Why can't we do things for mutual benefit?
