The saddest thing I have heard all night.

My good friend, Jules Carlylse, author and smartass, didn't sell ONE hardback when she was first published. I just found this out today.

Because of my meager efforts to help her during a serious time of need she rewarded me with the ONLY hardback and I just received it. She had it printed just for me, a hardback, with an inscription page. Yes, I'm still crying...

The saddest thing is this...

She wanted to know what the hardcover looked like because no one ever bought one so they weren't ordered and she couldn't afford to just have one printed and sent to herself.

I'm starting to think if I had never given her some exposure on DU, she may still be struggling. (which she is, I bet.)

All I know is; the book is brilliant, she is hilarious and we must support each other. Has anyone read this book?

I have and it is a must have if you hate Bush.

Please get a copy, it is a true reference book to the joke they call our president. She may be Canadian but she gets it. We bitch and moan about the lack of journalistic oversight and we won't buy a goddamn book? She is CANADIAN and researched every word that came out of his "*" mouth for YEARS. And we don't buy it? I'm ashamed. Shouldn't we support each other?

IF not, doesn't the MSM win? (p.s., thanks to all that bought the book, share your reviews, please.)

If nothing else, my Mom would probably read it. She usually reads at least one book each night, it takes me considerably longer.
