I still haven't got around to figureing out what the whole "furry" thing is all about. Yeah its a weird place. For those of you that don't know there was actually a virtual terroist attack on John Edwards Second Life campaign headquarters. Hilary and Obama have them too. There's even an unofficial one for Wes Clark for Pres.

I've been named General Manager of Second Lifestyle Publications. We are producing a news and feature centered daily website, a weekly or bi weekly PDF and eventually a print magazine of news and features about second life and the real life impact this virtual world is having on the way people surf the internet.

I'm hiring journalist and column writers. Experience isn't necessary but I am holding our writers to very high standards. Payment would be in the currency of the realm, Lindens, which can in fact be sold for real world dollars and the pay can be considerable by Second Life terms anyway for good and consistent writers. Write about something you see or like.Do a review of a singer you hear and submit it. If I like it you'll get lots of lindens to play with. I'm not beyond having a creative writing section too and I'm going to push for that.

Some people buy into Sl which allows them to own virtual land to develop. You can also buy lindens for USD at about 1 USD=250 lindens. There are people actually making a living un RL from playing Second Life. A SL stock exchange is going strong now and people are making millions of lindens. Thousands of real dollars.
