Bush drunk/medicated in this video? "Our troop in harm way"
Edited on Sat Mar-31-07 02:10 PM by wordpix
I have been a bit skeptical of the "Bush is drinking again" posts but this one is pushing me to think he's either over medicated or drinking. Either that or he's losing it mentally.

What do you think?

1. I'd imagine Little Lord Pissypants is throwing an
ever lovin' fit right now.

His stress levels are at all-time highs. They would be for any President given the current circumstances, but for an unrecovered alcoholic with a history of drug use, it's even worse.

I would imagine there's a lot of liquor being consumed in the White House right now.

3. Sounds just like he has for the past 4 years
Gibberish with some "Cowboy Bob" from the Wild West Rodeo Show thrown in
too. Just random phrases strung together with a glue of ahhs and ummms.

He did look a little more pissed then usual. "Tough decisions by our commanders
on the ground." :puke: until that commander disagrees with bush and then
he is seen as "the enemy" by this group of thugs who took over after the coup
of 2000.

BTW An old friend from Ohio University who has done Alcohol and Drug treatment
for years (head of an agency) told me in 2002 about "the pretzel story" that any
client he had who told such a story would get a pee test and a blood sample test
in a heartbeat. Choked on a pretzel watching the Super Bowl?

15. A friend of mine who is a very heavy drinking unrecovered alcoholic said the same thing.
He said that this was an obvious drinking incident and an obvious, typical lie of a drinker.

4. I've been skeptical too, but he was not in charge of his mouth
and it made me really uncomfortable. He sounded like he was on some major Thorazine. :scared:

14. It'd be real nice if our coporatemedia would stop
acting like presswhores and run this clip as many times as they did THE DEAN SCREAM!

5. The real question is what did the Republican leaders see during the meeting?
It's impossible to believe that he was articulate and alert for an hour with them, then melted in from of the cameras. At what point do they all realize that Captain Queeg is running the ship of state and a typhoon is coming?

9. I keep telling you, this guy has not been sober in a long time.
He looks drunk in most of the pics I have seen in the last two years.
Possibly some prescription drugs with the booze, but primarily booze.

(This is one of the reasons he refuses to do anything past a certain
evening hour, he is blotto most nights.)

10. How about "Thank you for your answers"
This is what * told the press as he concluded the q&a portion of a press conference last week (the press was asking the questions and he was supposed to be giving the answers). I was suprised that it didn't get mentioned here and in the press at the time, but then I thought that we are so used to *'s inability to make sense and/or his appearence of intoxication that it wasn't worth mentioning.

11. One of the more interesting possibilities
Edited on Sat Mar-31-07 04:08 PM by junofeb
Some time ago I read 'Talking Back to Prozac'. Seems the serotonin reuptake inhibitors do just about the same thing in the brain as cocaine, especially in people who have addictions/sensitivity to cocaine. Apparently it's a problem for prescribing docs who often have former cokeheads who will begin to abuse these drugs as well. Bush is known to be a cokehead, it would sure be interesting to know exactly which anti-depressant/ anti-anxiety meds he is undoubtedly on right now. I don't doubt he's drinking either, but I bet he has more fun with his scrips than he is 'supposed' to...
on edit: a lot of psych drugs have aphasia listed as a side effect, might this be part of the problem (along with the fact he just ain't articulate...)

12. losing it? he lost it years ago
i don't know how anyone could have watched the kerry/bush debates and not noticed that bush was a mumbling, drooling, shambling over-medicated and probably drunk as a skunk mess back then

i'll be honest, at this point i'm skeptical of anyone who is skeptical of something that can be clearly seen with two good eyes

the man is either drunk or on drugs or both and has been ever since he's been in public life

he has NEVER been able to speak, NEVER been able to enunciate, this isn't new, he isn't just now losing it, he never had it one day in his life to begin with

i honestly have never understood why people can't see a drunk is a drunk, as they say, denial isn't just a river in egypt

13. There's every reason to assume that he has been drinking for years
I'm talking as a gratefully recovering alcoholic here. Chimpy is an admitted alcoholic and cocaine-addict. Every alcoholic and addict struggles on a daily basis to avoid drinking again. No matter how strong one's program, no matter how long one has been sober, the risk is always there.

Chimpy is under a lot of stress. He also lies a lot - in fact, he lies constantly. An alcoholic in recovery tries not to lie. They try to lead an honest, healthy life. I see no signs of any kind of recovery in chimpy. I see lots of signs that he is drinking, drinking, drinking.

I don't know that he has EVER been sober. It could be a lie that he ever stopped. I definitely think he's been drinking and drugging (legal or otherwise) since at least 2003 - probably earlier.

There is no doubt in my mind about this. I've seen way too many alcoholics who claim to be sober and aren't. He has every sign of a heavy, active drinker. He has zero signs of recovery.

16. I'm listening to an archive from Monday's Coast To Coast AM. There is a guest
that George Noory has on, quite often. Sean David Morton. The man is a Remote viewer (does psychic work) and he also has friends inside of government.
He said that his friends told him that Laura has practically moved into the Mayflower Hotel and Shrub is drinking again and going nuts. Just saying that's what this man said on the largest overnight radio show in the country....
