Watching This Week on ABC and Barlett just gave 3 reasons as to why the attorneys were fired.

#1 was, paraphrasing, "The President has the ability to remove a US Attorney at any time"

If he's giving that as his #1 reason, isn't that essentially admitting WH involvement?

1. He was spewing so fast that
I didn't catch all of it but I wouldn't doubt he said that at all.

2. Actually I think that is a given
They are appointed not by the AG but by the President. They serve "at the pleasure of the President."
Regardless of who actually decides who goes/who stays, and who communicates to them that they have to go, they are by definition acting on behalf of the President. If he is involved and delegates the details, fine. If he is oblivious, then the entire administration is out of control.

And if he delegates the details and they are executed illegally, he is personally culpable. It happened on his watch. He is "The Decider." The buck stops right in his simpering face.

It is disingenuous beyond belief for anyone to think otherwise. This rat bastard has been cut so much slack by his sycophants it boggles the mind.

Even if the purge of non "true bushies" from the ranks of US Attorneys is not the most egregious of his many fuckups, there must be NO letup on any of them. The days of excuse-making are over. He must be kept twisting and kicking like a pinned cockroach.
