Dover, NH police say hate-speech stickers posted across town
DOVER, N.H. -- Police in Dover are asking for the public's help to figure out who has been posting hate-speech stickers across town.

Investigators said stickers with swastikas and Nazi propaganda have appeared stuck to street signs and business windows for the past three months.

The stickers were removed, but every other week or so since then, more have popped up.

The stickers advertise a Nazi Web site set up by a group in Lincoln, Neb.

Police say the person or people responsible will face misdemeanor criminal mischief charges.

3. Wait... this isn't in the South!
You might need to pull your thread because it doesn't meant the Southern stereotyping rules.

:sarcasm:

On a serious note, however, this is disgusting.

4. We had Nazi racists protesting in my town on Thursday.
and I'm in South Dakota. They were three geeks in military-like uniforms marching around in front of the local newspaper and denouncing it as "anti-white" because it refused to interview their presidential candidate, who was one of the three geeks. Their literature identified them as National Socialist Workers Party (Nazi) members from South Carolina.

I chatted with them long enough to find out who they were, then waved and shouted "Hasta luego" at them as I left.

5. When we were in NH for the holidays
Edited on Sat Jan-27-07 01:21 PM by DesertedRose
I saw a truck in Concord with a confederate flag license plate attached in front.

I wish I could say I'm surprised, but I'm not.

Parts of New Hampshire would be right at home in the deep south. Very strong 'independence'/'rebellion' mentality.

I think there are some who are threatened by the rapidly diversifying southern part of the state bordering Massachusetts (around Nashua and Manchester).

The Klan is in Berlin.

My sister in law goes to school in Dover. It'd be nice if UNH had some sort of school-wide diversity rally to send these bozos a message.
