In my mind, there is no way anything these ex soldiers are saying is true! Who in their right mind would tell a foreign reporter about these things, they would go to JAIL.

More likely it is a psych op designed to instill fear into enemies of the Russian Federation.

Think about it, there is no evidence and no harm in reporting these things to a nation believed to be somewhat hostile to Russia.
