I Think Jay Severin's Off The Air For Good In Boston!

This afternoon, the WTKK front page had some contest involving Jimmy Severino, aka Jay Severin. It's gone now - he's also missing from http://www.969wtkk.com/wtkk-everyzing.html">this page, and everywhere else on the site.

Then http://www.bostonherald.com/business/media/view.bg?articleid=1169315&srvc=business&position=recent">this, from the Boston Herald:

"New ratings for the first three months of the year show that Severin’s afternoon-drive show plummeted to 14th place among the coveted 25- to 54-year-old listeners with a 3.6 share. Severin makes more than $1 million a year as a WTKK host."

So now we know why he was pulled - he was no more disturbing than any other day, but he's not a good earner anymore.

It would be so delightful if that ball of putrid refuse was off our airwaves for good.

....if he runs a company, he should be allowed to proposition any female worker that he wants to, without fear of a lawsuit. I felt like calling in and saying 1) Does he have the right to do it to folks of the same sex? and 2) What if you did it to my daughter or wife and I decide to meet you in the parking lot with a tire iron and beat you like the piece of shit you are? Are you going to then run to the arms of the legal system like a screaming little sissy that you are, Jay?

Fuck him. I hope he WAS fired and then proceeds to drive off a bridge.
