Now the homophobic idiocy of this is bad enough, but why the hell did this assistant principal think she had the right to do this? (Kentucky Equality Federation):
Kentucky Equality Federation received reports that a Franklin County High official allegedly sent an email to teachers instructing them not to allow homosexuals to leave class to use the restroom.
The email was allegedly sent after two female classmates were caught kissing in the public restroom.

Wait, an entire group of people can't use the john in response to being offended by a kiss by two students. WTF?

"I'd like to know what level this mentality, that gay and lesbian students should not be treated equally is coming from. An incident in one county could be called an isolated incident, but we now have similar reports in three other Kentucky Counties," stated Kentucky Equality Federation Managing Director Laura Reed.
Isn't this a health issue? Are gay students supposed to shit their pants if they are having gastrointestinal bad day? This is so insane that the students held a protest.

10. I'm still reeling from the idea that schools are defending their

supposed "right" to strip search a student, any student and argue that we're supposed to accept the unjustifiable reason that the have to be able to do so to "maintain safety" on some level.

If they feel the "need" to strip search, call the flipping parents and have them come to school immediately - not so they can strip their own kids, but to take them home if the "adults" have decided that they pose such a threat that the only solution is to demand that they take their bloody clothes off??

If anyone did that to my kid - for any reason - I would be livid and possibly violent (and I don't even kill poisonous spiders) if it happened without my knowledge or ability to remove my child from the situation. That would be my first move, then I would inquire about what horrific crime my kid was "convicted" of that would cause these creeps to even think of forcing such a violation upon my child, much less going through with it.

I don't see how these miscreants get away with what, in other circumstance, would be legally defined and prosecutable as molestation or abuse of a minor. These are people supposedly in charge of and responsible for the welfare of children while in school? Are the kidding??

The idiocy of specifying "gay" kids to be prohibited from kissing is beyond idiotic. It is as reasonable as saying blue eyed kids aren't allowed to kiss. Each other. Okay, so they're saying girls can't kiss girls in the bathroom. Therefore, they must want them to kiss each other in the hall. Or the cafeteria. I know - the faculty room. What about the locker room?
These nitwits have too much time on their hands if they are coming up with this drivel.

Imagine if the school that chose to strip search a child was the same school that prohibits same-sex intimacy. I guess they'd require that girls must be strip searched by an adult male only. Otherwise... they might be... (gay!). As if that is not only a bad thing but something they assume they must control. This sort of thinking (or rather, the antithesis of thinking) does not belong anywhere near a structure where actual thinking and education is supposed to occur.

Unfortunately, we are all too well aware that predators go where children are accessible. Like schools. This sort of behaviour needs to be eliminated because it is nothing but malicious or worse.

Did one of the people doing the kissing have bubonic plague?

Did they kiss and then torch the building with kerosene and matches?

Did they kiss and bully other students?

Did they kiss and blurt out that they planned to blow up Fort Knox?

Or did they just kiss?
