any suggestions? I've heard our government (FEMA) likes coloring books and that's it is a good way of teaching history to children. What are your thoughts?

1. I think it's a brilliant idea
You should definitely do this. I think about doing things like this all the time, but haven't come up with specific ideas yet. These issues get complex and if you can boil your ideas down into a slogan or workplace poster, more people will understand what you're saying. I'd advocate making as many drawings as you can and then sorting them for age groups. Some might end up good for kids and some might be good for t-shirts for adults. The t-shirt designs could be licensed by places like strangemonster.com or adopted by leftist groups selling fundraiser merchandise. Coming up with the images is the hard part. If you've got it in you, get it out! :)

6. No problem.
I picked a copy up last year from their table at some event or another, which is the only reason I knew about it.
