Repub COWARDS try to smear HEROIC war reporter Michael Ware

Sludge has a blurb on how CNN's Michael Ware heckled McCain at his live press conference in Baghdad the other day. Sludge's post was an excuse to trash the brave Mr. Ware who has been risking his life for 4 years, reporting on REALITY from the streets of Baghdad. Unlike the chickenhawk war-cheerleading cowards who have no skin in the game- certainly not their own, who throw mud from the safety of their armchairs. Apparantly, the reality that Ware has been reporting doesn't jive with the GOP script of democracy seeds sprouting in the green gardens of Iraq, so they've gone after this heroic man who has been risking his life to bring us all the truth and tell us the real story of B*sh's war.

OK- here is Michael Ware responding to these allegations, on video.

1. Demand proof.

No "name" has claimed to have seen the alleged heckling. No recording, either audio, video or cave painting exists of alleged heckling.

It's an obvious lie. Demand proof, loudly.

2. truth doesn't matter- all the RW talikng shitheads will be repeating this story

especially the slur at the end of Sludge's post (which I am not repeating here).

It will be dessimnated in the RW cesspools and bubble up into the mainstream, as it always does. Hopefully, CNN will report the story as a fabrication and defend their reporter.

3. If CNN drops Ware's reporting, I'll never watch that channel again

Someone has to be telling us the ugly truth and I've found him to be 100% credible as long as I've seen him on.

4. Although Ware says he didn't say a word...

I feel he would have been quite justified to have laughed at McCain. Quite justified. (Though it seems that Ware is more professional than that. The only "heckling" was in trying to ask McCain a question by raising his hand, thus chasing McCain off like garlic chasing away a vampire.)
