I saw a news report showing that people could order Tamiflu
over the net without a doctor's prescription. Evidently, the pharmacy has a doctor on staff who magically diagnoses influenza based on people checking off a box claiming to have influenza. How is this possible or legal?

1. There are a lot of pill mills like that on the net
and you run the risk of getting your pills confiscated in transit. If you order narcotics that way (and you can), you run the risk of an unpleasant visit from the DEA.

Worst of all, you run the risk of getting look alike pills that might not have either the right drug or the right dosage.

2. Donald Rumsfeld apparently either owns part of the company that makes
Tamiflu, or is heavily invested in it, so no doubt Bush just signed an order that dispensing Tamiflu in this manner was perfectly acceptable. But it must be Tamiflu.

No consideration was given to Rummy's portfolio value when this was done, however. :eyes: None at all. :eyes:

:sarcasm: Sad to think it's possible, I suppose.

4. There is a lot of fake tamiflu.
A lot of people ordered it this way years ago and the batch numbers on the blister packs were bogus.
