The blogosphere is ablaze with buzz about topless and semi-nude photos of controversial anti-gay marriage activist Miss California Carrie Prejean. We hear there’s a whole series of these suckers about to leak. The first photo, which appeared just a few minutes ago on TheDirty.com, shows a woman — who bares a stricking resemblance to the beauty queen — staring seductively into a camera while wearing only a pair of pink panties and using a strategically placed arm to cover her naughty bits.

Alicia Jacobs, Entertainment Reporter at KVBC in Las Vegas, has seen all six of the photos and says some are much more revealing. Alicia believes the flicks may have been taken after Carrie’s pageant-financed breast augmentation about six weeks ago.

And what really is the difference anyways when you are talking about beauty contests where women parade around on TV in skimpy bikinis for men to gawk at? If the contest was being truly honest about it they'd all be naked anyways would they not? Of course we can't do that on network TV.

And finally who cares about beauty contests in the first place? I mean how mysogynist and anti-feminist and out of date can you get? This kind of stuff should have ended 30 years ago but somehow manages to go on year after year.

What do you really expect from contestants in the first place anyways?

These are really just the first "reality TV" shows where the contestants are exploited in exchange for money and fame (however fleeting).

In fact beauty contestant answers to interview questions (regardless of the question - think Ms. Teen South Carolina a few years back) have long been a running joke - why should you expect better from Ms. California anyways?

And Miss CA announced that she was a big Christian and yet posing nude for photos is a huge no no in that 'faith' of hers. The fact is that she's a liar. She herself does not follow the words of Paul, and yet she grandstands that others must do so. A fake.
And also, by the way, the rules of Miss California state that such photos are not premitted. So she broke the rules that she agreed to abide by, the rules that paid for her immodest surgical adormnents. She took the benefits, and broke the contract, broke her word.
Many others who have won 'crowns' have lost them due to such rule breaking. Specifically for posing nude. That is the way the beauty world rolls.

also, many of the nude folks you see are in fact body doubles, stand ins, not the actors at all. Yep.
There are many body parts of many actors you think you have seen, but have not. Yep.
Furthermore, an acting role is not the same as a photo shoot. There are lots of people who would do various things for a dramatic porpose that would not do the same thing as themselves, for no reason but to make impactful photos. Ask the folks at Playboy if you don't belive me.

which you can find out by going to a beach filled with bikinis and taking off your clothing. Are you seriously unaware of that?
Plus, rules in a competition do not have to make sense, but they must be equally applied to all contestants. She signed up to follow those rules, in order to gain from the event and title. She had many other options if the ruels did not fit her agenda. Other contestants fulfilled their end of the contract and she did not. This is not fair to the other contestants.

they work very hard to be allowed to do the bikini thing. It is years of focused work, and even surgical alteration. They ask to do that, they beg, lie, cheat and steal to do that. And, in order to make that bikini parade, they also agree to many rules and regulations. It is a contest. A contest that one gets in by winning many previous contests, all with virtually the same set of rules and standards. Rules that say they can not do nude stuff.

It's the ends justifies the means time again. The first thing that struck me about this babe was the word "ambitious"...willing to do whatever to be a "star" (whatever that notion may be). Carrie Prejean got her breast augmentation after she was named Miss California USA. Somehow I suspect she knew about the morals clause in the pageant contract before she had the photos made--after the Vanessa Williams scandal I assume that's the one part of the contract they really make sure you understand.
