APInvestigators told reporters on Thursday that they have found 16 pairs of women’s underwear hidden under the bed of accused "Craigslist Killer" Philip Markoff — yes, the same bed Markoff shared with his former fiancée, Megan McAllister.

Two unidentified law-enforcement sources told ABC News that the 23-year-old medical student appeared to be collecting underwear as "souvenirs" from his alleged victims. Police also found under the bed 60 pairs of plastic Flex-Cuf restraints and duct tape. These were reportedly next to a hollowed-out copy of Gray’s Anatomy that hid a semiautomatic weapon police believe Markoff used to shoot Julissa Brisman

Usually, if you've moved from girlfriend to fiancee, you've been expected to start doing chores for Prince Charming. Among those chores is laundry and to do that you need to rake discarded socks and underwear out from under the bed.

Suddenly being promoted to laundress meant he was probably serious, but that was always my cue to leave.

As for #3, she's probably still wrestling with how the hell she could have been such a fool.

Somebody needs to tell her she's not. These guys are so slick that professionals often can't spot them.

I've been married and I've had girlfriend/fiancees ... and I can do my own housekeeping and laundry, thank you. I even recall one of the more noteworthy 'disagreements' I had with my ex-wife, during our 12-year marriage. She was upset with me that I'd done the laundry and housecleaning. "You don't need me!" she wailed. After my jaw was agape, I said "Not for a laundress or housekeeper, that's for damned sure! I can hire those if I want." (I'm not into prostitutes, either.)

I find the very notion of the sloppy, helpless male 'needing' the woman to do the laundry and cleaning to be demeaning and insulting.

I do the housework, grocery shopping, and laundry even now at the age of 65 ... and have been my ENTIRE life. I don't fucking need anyone to clean up after me. Yet. And is sure ain't a job for a wife, girlfriend, or fiancee.

One of my best (female) friends repaired her own roof (replaced shingles) and remodeled her own master bathroom, even though her eldest son runs a home remodeling business. She's "feminine" and my generation but, like me, can't tolerate the notion that some things are a "man's job" or "woman's job." As far as I'm concerned, it's about doing what needs doing and leaving that 50s 'Ozzie & Harriet' crap in the trash by the curb.
