doesn't need to import them.

2. Because Michael Savage's listeners are such cultured, globally conscious people
I'm sure they'll regret losing the ability to fly to foreign countries. I'm sure.

Now if beef jerky and budweiser ever get on Savage's bad side then you might have a boycott. But international travel? Meh.

91. The subject line was just fine, but the body of the post was pretty classist, yes
The subject line observes something that you can deduce simply from the politics Savage espouses, which includes disdain for culture and multiculturalism.

But I like beef jerky and beer just as much as the next guy, and that has nothing to do with anything other than making silly stereotypes.

4. His listeners don't even know where Britain is
and they can't find it on a map. Also, hard to get together enough money for overseas travel when you're living in mom's basement and not working.

So I doubt the British tourism industry will be much affected.

And I don't listen to Michael Savage. What exactly is wrong with living in a trailer? Not all mobile home dwellers are beer-swilling, foul-mouthed, ignorant Republicans. At least, I don't know any. Oh, and I've already been to England, twice, in fact.

105. I looked at living in a nice double wide a while back
the rent on one double-wide almost-but-bot-quite-like-a-real-house was the SAME as a 1 bedroom, cramped apartment!

I forget why I didn't, i think it had to do with my room mate having issues with trailer parks *shrugs*

Friend of mine has one in Oregon, damn thing cost as much as my car, and he's got 3 room in it! =] (I only have a 15k€ car)

I agree a double-wide is a better investment but he also complains that in the winter it gets rather cold... my stone/cement house, doesn't... not to mention it laughs at the strongest winds!

So.. it's a matter of balance :)

They have an idea, sure...but there are probably only 8-10 million people in America still listening to AM radio. Considering most AM radio stations broadcast this kind of hate-drivel, I'd bet their guess is as good as any.

Classic English Toad-in-the-Hole
Posted by Elise on Aug 13, 2003
"Toad in the hole" is a classic English hotdog dish and a great hit with kids on both sides of the Atlantic.

Classic English Toad-in-the-Hole Recipe
Preparation time: 1 hour.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cup of plain flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb of good-quality sausage (pork, turkey)
salt and pepper
METHOD
1 Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F. Sift flour into a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper. Make a well in the center of the flour. Whisk the eggs and the milk into the center of the well in the flour, gradually to smooth out lumps. Cover and let stand 30 minutes.
2 Brown the sausages in a little olive oil and cook through, about 10 minutes
3 Put sausages in a roasting pan, pour the batter over the sausages and place in oven. Cook for about 20 minutes or until the batter is risen and golden. Serve at once.
Serves 4-6

Speaking as a Briton, far-right nut-jobs not coming over here sounds like a great idea.

Although, actually, I suspect they don't much anyhow. Nearly all the American's I've met have been liberal, and my impression is that liberals are in general much more likely to move abroad than conservatives.

Freedom Fries and English Muffins. (that ship sailed back in 2003)

Crawl back under your rock.

Even the Republicans and Neocons won't listen to your rants.. however.. you might find some loyal knuckle-draggers and mouth-breathers if you team up with Glen Beck...

59. Next Wiener will announce he is setting up a short wave transmitter to beam his program to England
He will brag to his ignorant audience about how he is now being heard in Great Britain over the short wave radio. When that novelty wears off, he will claim the Brits are jamming his broadcasts.

What a bag of lug nuts Savage is. His audience deserves him.

... to buy another jug of likker, and to stock up on more supplies for the meth lab. I'm sure QE2 is trembling... not!

From Media Matters: Savage to "low-life, beer-swilling mutt" at UK Home Office: "You can tell your Queen that I will call for a boycott of all travel to Britain by my 8 to 10 million listeners"

Does he realize she probably had fuck all to do with the decision to keep his crazy ass out of Great Britain? Oh that's right the Queen is their ruler!!!! Just smile and nod everyone.
